So, I have decided that being a Home school Mom to three children, ages 7 - 2, doesn't keep me busy enough! (Yeah, right!) I believe I will take up blogging just to possibly, maybe, help me keep my sanity and give you a glimpse into our lives. Hopefully I can encourage someone along life's way that you CAN be an awesome Mother, even if you mess up on a near daily basis!
First, allow me to make introductions...
I am Sarah, married to a wonderful husband, Curtis. We have been married 11 1/2 years and have had 5 precious children. Tyler is our oldest, he is in second grade and is 7 1/2 years old. Brooklyn is our middle child, she just celebrated her 5th birthday on Jan 15th. Trey is our youngest at 2 1/2 years. Wait, I thought you had 5 children, you say? Yes, we do, our first two were twins, and they are awaiting us in Heaven. Though we carried them only 17 1/2 weeks we still feel their absence frequently. Samuel, our first born, arrived May 15, 2004. His twin sister, Hope, followed some four hours later in the wee hours of the morning on May 16, 2004. As a Mother, I miss them daily, but the pain has diminished over the years, until I just long for Heaven and all it's perfection when we will one day be a complete family again.
For now though... I have an enormous task of pointing my children towards loving Jesus with all their hearts and getting them through the mandatory years of schooling without loosing my mind! Some days this goal is not hard to reach, others it seems near to impossible! :)
Hopefully we will post updating weekly for the next little while. I have yet to figure the whole "blogging" thing out! Any advice will be appreciated!
